<title>Missing girl reunited with her Mother</title>

The mother of the girl had informed the Beach manager and it wasn't long before they were back together again.]]></description>

<title>Yacht Sunbird runs aground on the Mixon</title>

<description><![CDATA[05/04/207 21:29 UTC<br /><br />The Selsey all weather Lifeboat launched to assist a yacht with two persons on board reported aground somwhere near Selsey, the Selsey Coastguard initial response team located the vessel as aground at the mixon rocks and soon the Lifeboat was standing by the vessel although unable to get close due to the shallow water. Selsey's inshore Lifeboat was launched to assist in arranging the tow with the all weather lifeboat and once established the vessel was towed to Sparks marina Hayling Island.]]></description>

<title>Raw sewage at Dell Quay</title>

<description><![CDATA[05/04/2007 05:30 UTC<br /><br />The Selsey mud team assisted in the taking of samples for the Environment Agency, this was after concerns were raised about raw sewege being pumped into the harbour by the nearby sewage treatment works. The mud team retrieved three samples for further testing.]]></description>

<title>CONCERN FOR SURFER</title>

<description><![CDATA[11/02/2007 15.15UTC. Selsey IRT paged to reports of surfing equipment unattended on the shoreline near Pagham Harbour. Littlehampton IRT also asked to check to the East of the harbour. On arrival the equipment had been claimed by two surfers. Area searched as a precaution. Nothing untoward found.]]></description>

<title>BOAT FIRE</title>

<description><![CDATA[04/02/2007 18.17UTC: IRT tasked to a report of a boat fire at Chichester Marina. West Sussex Fire also tasked. On arrival the fire had been extinguished by the owner of the yacht. The fire was limited to the port quater locker and was caused by the on-board heating system.]]></description>

<description><![CDATA[01/02/2007. 13.16UTC: Selsey IRT tasked to a report of a yacht on fire at Chichester Marina. West Sussex Fire & Rescue also tasked along with Chichester Harbour Patrol & Hayling Lifeboat. The fire was extinguished by marina staff and all persons were accounted for. After talking to the owner of the vessel it is thought the fire was started by a hot air gun being used just prior to the fire. All units stood down.]]></description>

<title>PERSONS IN WATER</title>

<description><![CDATA[31/01/2007. 19.30UTC. Selsey Team tasked to a report of two persons in the water in the vacinity of Clayton Rd, Selsey. The team were on scene within 4 mins of initial 999 call. Two girls were quickly located and assisted from the rocks by coastguard officers and given first aid at the scene until the arrival of Paramedics. Both girls were suffering shock and mild hypothermia. Selsey ILB was also in attendance.]]></description>

<title>POSSIBLE MISSING WINDSURFER</title>

<description><![CDATA[31/01/2007 17.15UTC. Sesley IRT tasked to a report of a windsurf rig washed ashore at Jollife Rd, West Wittering. A search was mounted with Hayling Coastguard Rescue Team along with the Coastguard Rescue Helicopter "India Juliet" and the Hayling Lifeboat. The rig was eventually traced to one that had been lost some time before and all the search teams stood down.]]></description>
